This award holds a special place in my heart because it celebrates something I’m truly passionate about: helping communities thrive. It’s an honour to be recognized not just for the work I do in wealth management but for my efforts to give back to the Vancouver community.

Professionally, it’s a tremendous privilege to guide the financial journeys of high-net-worth families, private foundations, and non-profit societies. I’ve always believed that success means more when it’s shared with others, which is why community service has always been a huge part of my life.

Here are some highlights from the past 20 years that I’m proud to share:

• There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping people meet one of their most basic needs—access to healthy food. This compelled me to serve as a Director of the Greater Vancouver Foodbank Society
• My involvement with the Laurel Foundation, which supports the development of research and programming to promote the mental health of individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, has also been incredibly rewarding.
•  As Director and Treasurer of a private independent Vancouver school, I’ve been part of a dedicated team focused on the improvement of educational outcomes and increasing the accessibility of education to economically disadvantaged families.
• Of course, one of my biggest passions is supporting the advancement of women in finance. From mentoring young women entering the industry to serving on the Association of Women in Finance annual PEAK Awards selection panel, it’s been a thrill to watch the next generation of female leaders launch their careers.

It’s truly an honour to be counted among RBC’s Global Citizens, who are outstanding role models, mentors, team players and consummate volunteers.
